I love the first one. Looks like the sun is so close you could reach out and touch it… but I suppose you would want to be wearing an oven mitt, wouldn’t you? 
It is extremely big, isn’t it? Maybe New Zealand is closer to the sun?
But honestly, would you’ve said those are clouds in that second shot?
Yes, what is remarkable there is that the sun is rising “above” the clouds. Both are great photos!

This is an interesting sky, taken a couple of days ago. The clouds don’t look quite real - it’s as if they’ve been painted on.
