What you can do though is include links to your other articles within the content. That way if somebody copies it and posts it they’ll more often than not forget to change that and at least his visitors will see your stuff.

And if you do that, be sure to make the links absolute. If they are relative, the browser will resolve them relative to the copied content, and they will therefore lead nowhere.

the way Google is improving its algorithems i hope to see come update that will put a check on it. but is the copy cat just pastes the content on his site then it will get noticed as duplicate content and will not ne that effective, that is why many Press Release sites have suffered as they post the same content on multiple sites.
