Don’t feel like they need to be mutually exclusive at all (my daughter loves coding and she loves art and drawing just as much - agree with some of the other comments around the fact that you shouldn’t push your kids to be copies of yourself, they have things that they’re going to love and have an affinity with and those will be the things that you need to encourage as a parent.
That said, coding and ability to at least in some way manipulate computers and software are going to be more and more important in all walks of life going forward.
