Just like my title question, when I build a website, I want to know that if the TKD(title, keywords, description) are still useful to a new site. After all, it may may decide its relativity.
I am led to believe that keywords are redundant as far as Google is concerned, not sure about Bing, etc
Title and description are not only important but also your opportunity to influence what text is being searched. Also what text is displayed in the Search Page.
Take your time to do a few searches, compare the source code title and source code description to the text on your Search Page.
Title and description are still very important, but keywords aren’t so useful. Search engines like Google seem to give little or no credence, as they are too often misused.
