I’m building one web site and client want to put one link “Download short icon to home for easy access”. If user clicks on this link then it should create shortcut icon on iPad home screen to launch this website. I know there is a + icon in toolbar to do so but client wants this way.
Is it possible? If yes then please provide any tutorial link or let me know how-to.
Else, can it be achieved using a native app. I mean, can I install a native app on click of this link? The app will launch this website.
