Backlink or Permanent 301 redirect?

Hi,

I have two similar domain names. I am going to link one without content to the other that has content.

Should I do a Permanent 301 redirect in my hosting account.
Or should I build a basic, micro-site that features one simple link to the main website?

I would go with the redirect. The link has potential to miss traffic to the main site. That one extra step for the user can make a difference, given the limited attention span and laziness of many web users.

Good point - I agree - I’ve done a 301 redirect

301 Redirection is the best one. Which one should you redirect? Check the domain age and link profile. Choose one that is older than the other with good/healthy link profile. :wink:
