As many said here, Directory Submission would help in business promotion. But there may not be much impact on SERP Results. Also you will get visits only when submit your link to reputed business directories. Link Building should not be seen as posting links to directories, forums, articles, etc. You need to build the link in relevance to the blog or product.
Directory has less impact but it goes into help of building backlinks too.
According to latest update of penguin directory submission is given less importance compare, posting your site in do-follow link is important.
