Best time tracking software for a freelancer

After checking out many different time tracking programs I settled on Easy Time Tracking Pro. There is both and free a pay version. Their pricing structure for upgrades is a bit unorthodox but for the price you get more than any other time tracking software, including customizable invoices. The do seem to provide a free upgrade if a new major (i.e. 5.1 to 5.2, yeah I know that’s not really a major version but they think it is) version comes out within a month or so of your purchase. It works very similar to TaskCoach and HourGuard but with much more time-tracking features (except for maybe TaskCoach which is really good - try it first to see if it’s sufficient)

on lifehacker, klok got quite favourable reviews. i started using it recently and it’s pretty intuitive, except for the fact that it doesnt sit in a cloud like toggl does. http://www.toggl.com/
either of those are worth trying for sure!
