I am a newbie in BootStrap
I want to convert a flash website in to html5 using bootstrap..But there are lot of images that need fixed width in the website. How do i fix that and make the website responsive too..Can anybody advise?

You can try the goog swiffy that convert SWF files to HTML5 : https://www.google.com/doubleclick/studio/swiffy/
Then the rest you have to do it manually..

I have tried that but as the file is above 1MB i am not able to convert it.

I had to turn off part of Bootstraps's CSS declaration:
/* max-width: 100%; THIS DECLARATION F--KS UP MY CODE*/
I put my images inside a <figure> tag. The figure tags has the width declarations and the IMG is always 100% of the figure element's width.
