On my current website project I am having two separate and (I believe) unrelated issues.
The first issue is the javascript header which contains 4 images that rotate with a fade. This slideshow is working in Safari and Chrome, but not in Firefox and Internet Explorer. I can’t figure out why.
The second issue is the Facebook Like button. It appears in Mobile Safari, and Firefox (although only the latest version I believe, as some using Firefox can’t see it), but not in Desktop Safari (Windows), Chrome, or IE. Please note I am not referring to the Like button for each article (those work), but the general like box that appears between the red menu the gray title box. I have tried multiple (joomla) extensions for the like box, but am having the same issue. I have also tried the iFrames version, the HTML5 version, and the XFBML version. I believe the problem must be in the HTML or CSS but I can’t find it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
