Bulk file uploads

Is there an HTML/JS/PHP solution for bulk file uploads (specifically images)?

The “file” input tends to be tedious for users when there are more than a few files to upload.

I know google has the ability, but I don’t know the technology behind it.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I’ve used this drag-and-drop uploader in the past with success.
