hey guys can you provide me a list of good books on .NET.
I would suggest you to go through this asp.net tutorial for learning asp.net. It is much easier than book
http://www.w3schools.com/aspnet/default.asp
Other good resource for asp.net tutorials is
http://www.aspnetbook.com/basics/aspnet_basics.php
Thanks for your reply. I think C# 4.0 The Complete Reference By Herbert Schildt also a good book for learning .Net.
cpradio i am sorry. i will try to follow the rule.
If you know C# well, then two books I can highly recommend are C# in Depth by Jon Skeet, and CLR via C# by Jeffrey Richter. Both have been invaluable in me learning C# well enough to be a credible ASP.NET developer.
The best one I know is ‘C# in a Nutshell’
by Peter Drayton, Ben Albahari, and Ted Neward
O’Reilly Media
I have 8 years experience in .NET and this one is better far beyond all the others.

I would say for beginners and to learn, Beginning ASP.Net with C# and VB by Imar Spaanjaars(Not sure if I wrote the last name correct) from Wrox publications.
And after that Advanced version on same technology will serve the purpose for advance programming techniques.
I would advise you use MSDN library or www.asp.net and stick to this forum
You cant go wrong with the above
