While I understand what CDN is used for, i wish to know how does using CDN help my website to load faster?
What I mean to ask is, if my browser (Chrome, Firefox, IE) is limited to 4 to 6 simultaneous connections, how will implementing a CDN will help me boost the loading time of my webpage.
Many thanks in advance for any inputs
"The user's proximity to your web server has an impact on response times. Deploying your content across multiple, geographically dispersed servers will make your pages load faster from the user's perspective."
So, for example if a website has 85 resources (images/js/css) on their homepage on a very hi-end server, will it still take time to load and require a CDN? or CDN are useful ONLY for websites that are hosted off a poor server?
It isn't about whether your server is high- or low-end. It's about the server's proximity to the user.
