Anybody know of a program that does a character count for a certain piece of text? Not a word count but a character count, including spaces.
I get rather sick of counting them myself when submitting descriptions to search engines etc.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I just stumbled across an easy way. Just cut and paste what you want into an icq message, that does a character count for you! You can then cancel your message and voila! You have your character count.
Still, anyone know of any proggies that do this?

Textpad will give you character count, word count and line count. You can get a free trial download at www.textpad.com and the purchase price is only $27 (US). A great bargain in my books.

MS Word will also give you word, character and line count. Just go to Tools -> Word Count...
