Hi guys,
I need your recommendations on solid books covering building wordpress themes from scratch. I’ve searched Goog and Amazon but all I’ve come across is books that cover installing WP and using plugins or customizing existing themes but none that really thoroughly cover how to build a wordpress theme from scratch. I’m looking for books that cover stuff like theme planning (listing down features a site will need) to creating a wireframe/mockup to html/css/js and finally to porting the theme to WP. The best example I’ve come across is the Jesse Friedman book ‘Web Designer’s Guide to WordPress: Plan, Theme, Build, Launch’. What books can y’all recommend that are similar to this?
