Course directions

I am finishing up your book “Build Your Own Website the Right Way” I want to continue to learn more about web development. On your site there are courses listed: HTML, HTML5,CSS, CSS3, JAVASCRIPT, PHP, RUBY (RAIL), MOBILE, UX, and DESIGN. My only problems!! I don’t know in which order to learn these coursed. Other sites have courses such as: jSON, AJAX, jQuery the MySQL. I just don’t want to put the cart before the horse. In which order should these courses be studied. Can you direct my web learning , it would be great if I had a syllabus.

You can learn them in order they are listed: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP…

The order that they show them in is probably fine, just keep in mind that you don’t necessarily need to learn all of these. For example, PHP and Ruby are both back end languages, you wouldn’t use both simultaneously so at this point there would be little use in learning them both, except to try them out and see what you prefer.
