I am trying to add an SPF record to my DNS zone editor on bluehost.
I am being told to add this line " v=spf1 a ip4:22.214.171.124 include:_spf.google.com include:sm2.myactualdomain.com ~all "
However when I do I get the error message which reads: Invalid IPv4 address
Any ideas on how to fix this and add that line as an SPF record? I followed this guide http://www.mail-tester.com/spf/bluehost but still now working for me.

It looks like it may be choking on the google SPF domain.
Contact bluehost support about the issue.

Well can you try this
v=spf1 a ip4:126.96.36.199 mx include:_spf.google.com include:sm2.myactualdomain.com ~all
v=spf1 a ip4:188.8.131.52 mx include:myactualdomain.com ~all
