I am trying to update the CSS settings on amazon afiliates astore. Help would be welcome and appreciated. currently I’m working through Ian Lloyd’s book “Web site the right way” obviously I need more instruction/guidance.

While I was going through Lloyd’s book, as a CSS newb, I found I could do very little. It wasn’t until after not only finishing that book, and finishing another which went much much further into positioning with CSS (HTML Utopia: Designing Without Tables), and then building a crappy website while learning more online, that I could actually deal with real websites.
So don’t feel you should be able to deal with an actual real site with lots of funk while going through Lloyd’s book. You need much more time.

Do you have easy access to the CSS on that store? If so, perhaps link us to the site and tell us what changes you want to make.
