Database username and password retrieval

Hi,
Being new to phpMyAdmin on my local server I created a new database and now can’t remember the username or password.
Can someone help please?

Any help appreciated.

Perhaps an ill conceived question!
I was using the root (master) username and password for my databases on my local server. I didn’t perceive much risk as my local machine is not networked.
As advised by Kevin Yank “phpmysql5pdf.pdf” (Beautifully written php resource!) it’s good security practice to create a dedicated user in phpMyAdmin for each new database created - which is what I did and I have now dutifully recorded my Username and Password. I can now make my first database connection!
