Awesome collection! I can certainly make use of this information.

I just wanted to report a broken link:

– The list - at evolt

Of course I must add: http://www.webdesignfromscratch.com - a comprehensive foundation in the skills for effective and usable design

No words: http://www.nevtron.si/borderline/archive2/intuiti.gif

Didn’t want to link directly to it, but the PDF in this article is excellent:

An interesting video on usability and accessibility - http://www.washington.edu/doit/Video/www.html

Well i think its better to pay for such things in order to avoid complications.

This list and these posts are great but I see very little on mobile usability aka usability for smartphones.

There’s a couple of slideshare presentations like, say, this one: http://www.slideshare.net/sprayaga/mobile-ui-and-usability-guide
A company in Toronto seems like it has tried to start one here: http://interpixdesign.com/_mobile-usability-design

With the explosion of mobile in the last few years and the lack of satisfaction with mobile applications and devices (50% of users, or even higher, according to different surveys) you would think there were more resources on this.

This list and these posts are great but I see very little on mobile usability aka usability for smartphones.

That’s mainly because this thread was mostly written back when only rich white technophiles had such things, for they did not exist for the ordinary interwebs user.

Thread needs a major update.

Yiibu has many resources, and research is still going on for general mobile use, especially since very recently it went from “all mobile users are people on the go who want quick answers to small things” to “this is the user’s main computer and they expect it to do everything but make printouts.” So even usability studies from a few years ago are not applicable to more of today’s users… different user sets with different goals.
