Hi this is newbie to this forum, Arrived here to learn more on internet marketing. As I am novice in this field, I want to know about the difference between Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Advertisement. Both sounds same for me. Is there any mass difference between two.?
SEM is wider and includes SEA. SEA is related to Pay-per-Clic and pay-per-view advertisement (banners, ads…)
SEM will include SEO (Search Engine Optimization), SEA, social networks (to get backlinks)…

SEM(Search engine Marketing) is both organic and paid advertising.SEA(Search Engine Advertising (only paid)) is increasing the traffic through advertising on search engines(CPC,PPC).
