I want to start a website that is a directory of links for skiing. There will be categories of equipment sellers, vacations, etc. I have two questions:
1- Is there a quick and easy way to add links to the directory automatically or semi-automatically, instead of requiring me to add each link by hand? Or perhaps a way just to initially collect the links info and then put them into the right category by hand? I really don’t want to have to add links one by one by hand. That can take forever!
2- What are some characteristics and functions of a good directory script? For example I will certainly need a way for the owners of the websites that I link to to “upgrade” their links with the payment of a fee.
Any suggestions or tips will be greatly appreciated.
