The city I live in posts the the feed of their traffic cameras with a 15 second refresh rate at [URL=“http://www.lincoln.ne.gov/asp/city/pwcam.asp?ID=47”]
How do I learn to post something like that? Would it be the same as an image given the refresh rate?
Windows Media Encoder was the free software I went with in the past.
I’m not sure about anything current that doesn’t cost a small fortune.
There is a free package called Abelcam that is specifically meant for this kind of thing. VideoLAN from the same people who made the VLC media player also has the ability to broadcast live streams again a fully functioned freebie. [URL=“http://www.nchsoftware.com/broadcam/index.html”]Broadcam is also worth a look even though the free version has some restrictions.
