FLASH file that shows tomorrows date

hey all,

i need to find an .fla file or tutorial on how to show tomorrow’s date (ie today is thurs it shows “Friday April 6, 2012” or “Friday April 6” or “friday”)

any ideas?

I won’t try to answer your question. No doubt someone else can.

However, I’d like to ask: Why do you want to do this in Flash? It would be trivial in JavaScript. Or, if you want to do it server-side, it would be just as easy in PHP, a .NET language, or almost anything else.

If you aim is to learn Flash, then surely getting a ready-made answer isn’t going to help you.
