Flippa.com keeps loading forever

I have problems accessing flippa.com since a few weeks ago. Flippa.com will keep loading forever on my browser. I tried deleting cookies and history but still in vain. I tried using a different browser but still cannot. I even disconnected my internet connection, reboot it and connect again. But flippa.com still cannot be accessed. However, sometimes after waiting for a while, flippa.com can be accessed again, but it becomes inaccessible a few moments later. What is causing this problem? I tried disabling my mcafee firewall but it still doesn’t help much. Kindly advise. Thanks.

I often get this error message:
“The connection has timed out. The server at flippa.com is taking too long to respond.”

Some time it happens…so contact your ISP provider…

If you’re still being affected, it could be a DNS issue, I might be tempted to try using a different DNS server to see if Flippa works using it in preference:

Here’s Google’s free DNS service - http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/

If the above doesn’t work then your ISP may be having some routing issues (either that or Flippa blocked your IP from accessing the site for some reason) :slight_smile:

Still no issues for me and never do.

Here works like a charm, no problems. Usually this happens when firewall goes nuts, once in a century, you should check it also.

If it has been a few weeks, it is definitely something on your end because the site has not been down for that long.

I would try checking the settings on your router or calling your ISP. If you have another computer at home, you could test it from there as well.

All my other sites are working perfectly fine, only Flippa.com is loading forever. How come?

Is it happening with any other sites? Flippa seems to be working fine from here…
