I have designed a site and it appears fine on my screen dimensions however when I change dimensions the design is put out of shape by over sized text. What is the best method to ensure font appear in proportion across all screen dimensions?
Should I be using percentages for fonts?
We’d really need to see your site to advise properly. It’s usually best to set your font sizes in % or em.
Sounds like your site is fixed width, which is impossible these days due to the large variety in used screens sizes and zoom settings. The way around it is fluid/elastic design.
How do I do this? I am using percentages. The design appears fine. Its just the text was resizing the screen. I hacve changed all the ems to percentages.
