I'm meant to be working and I've just spent 20 minutes playing around with that.
Haha. Yeah I've had my days like that. The most fascinating articles to me are the ones that put in perspective how far some of these galaxies are that we've spotted, and then how big our own is. Closest star to our own sun, 4 light years. Milky way roughly 100,000 light years across, and the furthest galaxy we've spotted, 13.3 billion light years away.
Be sure to understand what that pic of 5,000 galaxies is zoomed in on with that second image of the moon.
