I made a html email and I want to make a poster the same ready to print. I use fireworks for all my graphics and don’t get on well with illustrator. How do I easily make my graphics ok for a poster?
Fireworks is good with graphics work. However CorelDraw is the best. Why don’t you try it? It’s basically made FOR print design. So that’s the software for you 
If you have used vector tools in Fireworks, you can change the resolution of your Fireworks documents (Modify > Image > Canvas Size) from 72dpi to 300dpi. Then you can export new files that will be print ready. Hope that helps.
What software are you using for text layout? What size will the poster be?
