Getting into responsive design ... help requested

I am in need of brushing up on my web design skills just to see what is out there. I see really cool things out there these days, responsive sites being one of them. I would like to build around an already utilized, simple to use system that is out there. Do you all have any recommendations? I’ve been thinking about going with wordpress, but I’m just not sure. I’ll be using whatever I come up with for sites for clients, so I’d like to start out with something great.

Wordpress is a good choice if you want a CMS (Content Management System). You can add themes that are responsive, plus the twenty-fourteen theme is already responsive.

You stated you wanted to brush up on web design skills, and Wordpress is a complete solution, so I’m not sure it’s what you want. If you’re wanting to build websites from scratch, but you want a good starting point, try either Bootstrap 3 or [URL=“http://foundation.zurb.com/”]Foundation 5. Both are great starting points for building modern responsive websites.
