Help with Brown

I’m using this picture (as an attachment jpg), and I was going good until I got to the loaf of bread and the bag…

What the heck color is brown?

I want a dark, golden brown (like an appetizing loaf!) for the main loaf and a lighter golden brown for the indent parts of the loaf.

Also, can you find a nice paper shopping bag color for me?

Thanks a ton.

Note:
Sorry for the huge picture.

There are lots of color sample tools online, such as:

Perhaps take a photo of a color you like, save it to your computer, and then use a tool like Photoshop to crab the color value(s) in that image as your starting point.

What you could do is to find a good sized picture of a golden brown loaf and use the colours and texture from that in your illustration.
I dont think you will easily represent a good looking loaf in a solid colour of brown tbh.

Suggestions:
light colour #c2a770
medium: #a4804e
darker/golden #90581b

What program are you using?

Photoshop.

ralph.m, I use Kuler regularly. I just couldn’t figure out where/what color brown is…somewhere b/w yellow and orange?

Thanks spike. I should have thought of eyedropping a picture.
