Hosted chat services?

I’m trying to find a number of host chat solutions, something that I don’t have to worry about having on my own server, where I don’t have to worry about resources or security.

I’m familiar with 37 Signals Campfire, but wanted to know what other people suggested for something like this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks but that site looks pretty dead, only 2-3 reviews and pretty limited selection.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding what you’re looking for, but why not just use IRC with either an ajax or [url=http://www.pjirc.com]java script?
