Has anyone had experience with hostgator/bluehose and mediatemple? What are your thought as to the better solution (services/support/price)?

HostGator and BlueHost are both owned by the same company, EIG. Separate management and support teams right now but that may well change and they could merge in future.
MediaTemple are quite well respected within the industry for being an early adopter of cloud. They took a gamble as their early cloud infrastructure wasn’t that reliable, but they’ve pulled through and it seems like a good product now.
