I have no idea how a website is built, I don't know where the homepage is, there are a hundred directories and all the files end with .w .r and .i. Is there a tool that will help me break down how the site is made and where the homepage resides? Thanks for your help!

Sites can be built in various ways. It sounds like you are not starting with a blank sheet here. What software/code etc are you using? What have you done so far?
There is an intro chapter in the free Community Book that gives an intro to how websites are built.

It's webspeed. I really haven't been able to do anything cause I don't fully understand it yet.

Not sure what webspeed is, but if it's a software product, then you'd best check out their docs for information.
