How do I download my WP database?

Hi,

I need to download my Wordpress database because I am moving hosting providers. I have FTP access, and I have Wordpress admin access, but I don’t have phpMyAdmin access, nor do I have cPanel access. Can someone tell me how I can back up my database? Should I use a plugin?

Does someone else own the account with your hosting provider?

There are some good WP plugins that will backup your database. Check out https://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=backup .

You can either use a plugin or use PHPMyAdmin (that I’m sure that your current host provider has) or the Admin panel from your hosting service.
