How to create a FishEye menu

Best Sitepoint mates,

I walk an internship for half a year. I have a challenging, but it does not work.

I want to build a menu bar. When you click on the menu bar, I dont want a dropdown. When you click on the menu bar i want a FishEye menu. So i want the fisheye menu after the click on the menu bar. Its like http://www.apple.com/mac/ when you click, you see something like a Fisheye menu.

I have search for 5 hours on the internet and i couldnt find anything about this special menu bar. I hope you can help me with this problem.

Thanks a lot.

This is one of those situations where we really prefer to say to you—have a go, and let us know when you get stuck.

I don’t really know what you mean by a fisheye menu. (I don’t see anything that says fisheye to me on the Apple site.)

Anyhow, if you google “fish eye menu” you get tons of results, such as this: http://marcgrabanski.com/fisheye-javascript-menu/

I think he means the links below the small grey line with Mac, Apps, Pro Apps, etc. That slides sub menu items in.
I think you could try this yourself with a bit of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, it’s not that hard. If you really want to learn something that would be the way to go.

Oh, right. There are tons of scripts online. This is worth a look: http://kevinbatdorf.github.io/codaslider/
