To learn Graphic Design, you have to start form basic so that you can learn in a proper way. Graphic design is done in photoshop and coraldraw so first try to know the basic information about the software that you want to use in graphic Design. Then go for the basic tools in photoshop and try to do practise.
Some people believe that if they can soup up a picture in Photoshop, then they know graphic design. Others think that if they can write good handwriting with a broad-edged marker, then they are a calligrapher. It’s one thing to use a tool well; it’s another thing to have an eye for good visual composition. Understanding your tools is only part of it; having a good eye for arranging the elements to project your message is more important. Get a good book on graphic design; but if you are going into business, I highly recommend you take a class.
