Hi,
I’m currently using TextMate as my main editor and I like it but after seeing an introduction to Vim I started wondering and basically installed it to give it a try, the fact that you could use it without using the mouse makes me feel like that would be a good reason to give a try.
Last night I tried to install a plug-in (SnipMate) and God I’m lost I don’t know what to do, I spent a couple of hours searching but all of the tutorials I found assume you are a little familiar with the way Vim works which is not my case.
What I have right now is Vim installed in my Applications folder and I downloaded the SnipMate plug-in which contains a few folders inside and I honestly don’t know what to do with this folder or how to install it.
Is there anyone using Vim that could show me how to install plug-ins or explain me how plugins work? Any good tutorial for beginners?
