I want learn HTML

I want to learn html for starting a web developing career. Which formula like video tutorial or pdf would be better for basic learning.

That really depends on you and your preferences.

I would recommend finding a good book which takes you through a subject - HTML, CSS or whatever - in a logical manner. The problem with online tutorials is that they tend to cover just one aspect or technique, and you can end up with a rather “bitty” understanding of the subject.

Personally, I don’t find it easy to learn from video tutorials at all, and they generally suffer from the same problem of covering just a single area.

There are also various online courses - paid or free - you might want to look into.

Have a look around the forums, as you’ll find a number of threads offering suggestions for beginners’ resources.

Best way to try and learn HTML fun way is codeacademy website. The reason behind is that you do not need any hosting or even editors you can simply start learning the minute you sign up. Most important its not boring ! Once you finish it you can get one good book for html but I would not suggest to waste money on it, better get good book CSS and later PHP. For html even if you forget something you can find all information on-line in 1 minute.

Thanks

The w3schools.com is the good way to learn HTML, CSS, PHP, JS and JQUERY.
This tutorial can be easy to understand for biginner of wed developer.

Unfortunately, while w3schools is certainly widely-known, it’s not the best or most reliable source from which to learn. (See http://www.w3fools.com/ for details.)

There are many other resources to choose from, such as http://www.webplatform.org/, which is a W3C project.
