Ideas as to why my Google Map is not showing?

I’m working through this tutorial on how to establish a Google Map that populates with locations from a custom DB. I almost have something working but nothing shows up.

There seems to be an error in the JS as follows: GBrowserIsCompatible is not defined.

I am using Chrome and Safari on the Mac as well. Any suggestions on how to address this?
