I have software that creates websites in the same design very quickly. For a project, that required many websites of the same layout and design (rather, the design didn't really matter too much). They were in different topics and the content is original in each. Many aspects of each site were generated automatically, or with only a little input.
The project is coming to an end and so the software is not really required any more. There is years of work in it and I do not want to miss an opportunity to put it to some other use.
I have been trying to come up with an idea as to what the software could be used for next. The software could be adapted, but would not be easy to improve to a point where it could be sold. Basically, it just builds sites and is probably not unique and good enough for sale. Currently difficult to learn to use/ bad GUI... It did the job required but not a pretty thing.
In short, I think I am asking:- What online needs lots of populated html pages or multiple sites?
Any suggestions very much appreciated.

Thanks, I had a look at flippa just now. Never been before.
I could build sites to sell them for others to market and hopefully profit. Had thought about that (a little) and looked on ebay but sites were selling for tiny amounts. Will consider flippa.
I don't want to sell the software. It would take too long to get the GUI to a professional standard. I want to use it myself. But to do what?

There are people who've made a career out of building sites for sale on Flippa, they may find it useful.

They will sell for tiny amounts; if you want to break out of that you need to consider ways you can add value to each site you've built. The value that buyers see is in a established site with a proven income stream.
