IE8 display PNG images fine until rotate

Remove shadows for IE and a small example of the cogs whith shadows in a jpeg set to the side with a note (only displayed in IE) explaining to the users of this awful product (IE) what they are missing and then some links to Firefox, Chrome, Safari and any other browsers you feel appropriate to add.
