If creating more than one site w/wp, do I need additional WordPress folder per site?

to clarify:
i downoloaded wp.
it is in my htdocs folder in a folder named wordpress.
I am creating a site with it. I see I can change theme on that site.

but what if I want to create additional sites.
I am guessing I can’t do it in the same folder.
would I need an additional wordpress folder per site?

Yes…each separate Wordpress website needs to be in it’s own folder…
