If we added brand name in blog title, is it gain or loss? Is it correct or not?

Explain?

Do you mean in the blog’s title, like “Jim’s Cool Blog” vs “Jim’s Cool Blog - by Toyota”? Or are you referring to HTML title tags? Or both?

If you mean just is it a positive thing to use your brand in your blog’s title, generally, I’d imagine that it depends on the brand. Is the brand going to help gather an audience, or drive them away? If you or your marketing people (if you have) don’t know the answer to this question, with such little information how would we?

Hello yamunadevi,

Adding your brand name in a blog title is good if you are looking to market your brand. If the brand name is short and easily understandable, also if you want to market your brand name, then by all means add your brand name on your blog title.

In terms of Search engine optimization, adding keywords - that you want to be targeted by the search engine, in the title increases the likelihood of your blog to be easily found.

In short, if adding the brand name to your blog does not change the meaning of the title as well as is short and sweet, then it is a gain to you. Else, it would be best to avoid it.

Hope it helps  !
