Illustrator, how do I make a warp effect "permanent"?

Hi guys and girls,

If I use the effect Warp…and lets say I first outline then arc my text so it looks nice…

Now how do I do so this effect is “permanent” …so it’s the actual shape of the object…and not just an applied effect!?

…do you guys get what I mean? :slight_smile:

I would advice against it… or at least keep a back up file. Live effects are the most useful thing Adobe has come up with. But, if you want to finalize your work… and to answer your question: Objects>Expand Appearance.
