I am in the process of making 404 error pages. Is there a way to create inline styles for link, hover? as <a href="" style="a:hover or :hover "> don't work
i can only use inline style any ideas?

No, you can't target pseudo style inline like that. Why can't you use a style sheet, or at least styles in the head?

O ye don't why i thought this technique simply wont work lol, guess i learned that inline hover do not work and try before looking answers elsewhere lol.

No probs. In HTML emails, for example, where you really need to have styles inline, you have to do away with hover and just set a color for links. So make it obvious they are link.
But again, why can't you use a style sheet?

ye your absolutely right for the 404 pages I'm working on at the moment, style in head works fine. But as much as i have worked on e-mail marketing templates the style in head do not work and you have to use tables as far as i know, which i hate... ;D
