Installing Google Tag Manager

Hi, I have added Google Analytics to a new client website. We are interested in Google Tag Manager. Simple question:

When I add the JavaScript code for Google Tag Manager, do I keep the Google Analytics JavaScript snippet or remove it?

Does Google Tag Manager code replace Google Analytics Code or do I add it in addition to?

It replaces it, since you can do analytics through tags
