IPS Signatures

Hi,

I am looking for some information about IPS signatures (Intrusion Prevention System) and if you could direct me to relevant resources I will appreciate it.

The project consists of creating an IPS signature and then dropping the package when that signature is identified.

Signatures depend upon the device or software they are intended for.

Beyond that, I’m not sure what you’re trying to accomplish. Are you trying to develop your own signatures and scanning software?
