Is ruby fine to learn as beginner

Hi,
I just want to know something,"if anybody don’t know any computer language so It would be easy for anyone to learn ruby as a beginner language or it should go for another language."Hope to get help from you.
Thanks in advance.

Ruby’s as good a place to start as any.

Yep, I agree. Ruby’s a fine language to learn as a beginner.

I think Ruby is a great language for someone who is a beginner.

A great book to start is Learn to Program by Chris Pine. It teaches basics of programming and uses Ruby to do it. The first version is available online for free: http://pine.fm/LearnToProgram/ The second version is can be purchased from your favorite online retailer.

Obviously, Simply Rails is a great place to start if you want to learn about using Rails.

Good luck!

Ruby is a great language as others have said, it’s one of the simplest interpretations of a coding languages I’ve seen and rails is very agile. There’s a lot of work out there for Ruby developers as it’s suddenly become the poster-child for web programming. Though I personally use Python (which I enjoy for my own reasons)
