Is Twitter really social networking?

yes,I agree with @Force Flow.
first of all we must interact with other people in twitter by retweeting,@reply,following others.
I am also getting bored at first because there is nothing happened when tweeting. After that i have started retweeting ,giving reply and so on for others,response from other people gradually increasing.But now i’m spending most of the time in twitter rather than in facebook…

Twitter is where I am personally most active on social. Facebook is my primary network these days.

Whenever I publish a new blog post I get more Tweets than anything else by far.

I would say Twitter is certainly considered social networking.
