I have been exploring javascript via tutorials and books. I’m trying to become an expert in this area. However, these resources focus mainly on the language and not development.

The Question:
Should I increase my understanding by creating plugins or are there tutorials on the net which will help?

I’ve found that a great way to improve on what you know is to have other people comment on how to improve the code that you are currently writing.
